February 21: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and Mahalaxmi Life Insurance have signed bancassurance agreement on Wednesday, February 20. The bank’s CEO Krishna Raj Lamichhane and the insurance company’s CEO Ramesh Kumar Bhattarai inked the deal amid a function held at the bank’s head office in Durbar Marg.

According to the agreement, the bank’s customers can avail all kinds life insurance services provided by the insurance company through the bank’s branches.

The bank has been providing both life insurance and non-life insurance services through similar agreements with different insurance companies.
