March 27: The eight edition of Nepal International Trade Expo will kick off on March 28 at the exhibition hall in Brikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The expo is being organised by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce; Trade and Export Promotion Center; Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce; and the Federation of Nepal Handicraft Association.

The five-day trade expo is being organized at a time when the country is hosting the Nepal Investment Summit on March 29 and 30. Exhibitors from various countries including China, India, Bangladesh, Korea, and Japan are exhibiting their products at the expo.

According to the organizers, the exhibition aims to attract international investment and technology.

A total of 225 stalls will showcase products in the trade expo out of which 90 stalls are from China.

The trade expo will conclude on April 1.
