Universal Peace Federation Nepal Signs MoU with its American Counterpart

May 20: Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Nepal has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UPF USA to strengthen friendship, promote exchanges, share knowledge and cooperation for the mutual benefit of both Nepal and USA chapters of the federation.

UPF Nepal’s President Ek Nath Dhakal and UPF USA Chairman Dr Michael Jenkins signed the MoU at the USA-based office of UPF in New York, USA on May 19.

“The MOU will bring people of the two friendly nations, Nepal and USA, closer for mutual benefit” said Santosh Paudel, vice president of UPF Nepal who was also present at the signing ceremony.

UPF is an international and inter-religious network of individuals and organizations, including representatives from diverse sector dedicated to achieving world peace. UPF said in a statement that it supports and promotes the work of the United Nations and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
