May 25: A new model of Renault Kwid has been unveiled in Pokhara. Jonche Traders, the authorized distributor of Renault for the region unveiled the hatchback amid a program on May 24. Renault Kwid which is available in two different variants is popular as ‘Live for More Edition’. The unveiled Renault Kwid has new powerful 1.0L smart control efficiency (Sce) engine.

According to the company, the SUV inspired design Kwid 1.0L Sce engine is optimally designed for better performance. The hatchback also features seven inch screen media Nav system, digital instrument cluster, one touch indicator.

 For the safety, the vehicle is packed with pro-sense seat belt, radio speed dependent volume control and pretensioners with load limiters. Similarly, Kwid comes with boot capacity of 300 liters, ergo-smart cabin, multiple storage spaces.

“Kwid 1.0L Sce also features new speed-sport designer graphics on the doors and two-tone gloss grey ORVms, enhancing its style quotient,” said Rajendra Kumar Bataju, Managing Director of Jonche.

As per the company, Kwid is attractive, innovative and affordable. The newly unveiled Kwid is available with the starting price of Rs 2,163,000 and Rs 2,210,000. “On the occasion of sales commencement, discount of Rs 30,000 will be provided to customers,” said Bataju.
