May 29: A panel discussion programme on youth issues including economic empowerment and entrepreneurship was held on May 27 in the capital. The event was initiated by Youth of Shangri-la, a youth based NGO and sponsored by RS Moto.

The first edition of  Shangri-la Discussion Forum mainly focused on strengthening startups, changing the mindset of youth towards their work and skills they have to earn to get into entrepreneurship.

The panelists included youth professionals from different sectors including startups, social enterprise and media. The event was organised with the motive of getting professional views on  youth issues and to move forward with the ideas.

 After the discussion, the group made plan of action with a commitment to work on betterment of youths with specific  themes including economic opportunities to youths.
