June 20: The Global IME Bank Ltd. has opened its branch at Phidim in Panchthar district. The bank transformed its previously located extension counter into a branch in Phidim recently.

 The extension counter was transformed as a branch with an objective of aiding the economic activities of the district, informed the bank.

With the addition, the bank now has total of 96 branches throughout the country. All the banking facilities will be provided from the Phidim branch like its other branches in the country.
