Kamana, Sewa Start Integrated Transaction

August 6: Kamama Bikas Bank and Sewa Bikas Bank have started integrated transaction after their merger. Nepal Rastra Bank’s Deputy Governor Chintamani Shivakoti inaugurated the service amid a function held on August 4. After the merger, the banks have been renamed as Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank. Chairman of Pokhara-based erstwhile Kamana Bikas Bank Sudeep Acharya has been named as the chairman after the merger while Buwtal-based Sewa Bikas Bank’s CEO Mahesh Prasad Kafle is the new CEO. After the merger, the paid-up capital of the bank has reached Rs 2.6 billion. The bank now has 40 branches and 16 ATM outlets.
