October 17: As a part of its support to the community, Nabil Bank has provided an Electronic Digital Display Board and a LED Television screen to Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbarmarg to help spread social awareness messages. The bank also believes that its support will help the police in monitoring CCTV more effectively.

Issuing a press statement, the bank said its chairman Shambhu Prasad Poudyal handed over the equipment to DSP Tilak Bharati amid a function on October 12.

In a separate note, the bank said it was successful in posting the highest profit in the industry in FY 2016-17 at Rs. 3.613 billion on a balance sheet size of Rs 140.33 billion with Return on Equity (ROE) of 26.65% and Earning Per Share (EPS) of Rs 58.41.

The Bank has declared 48% (30% bonus+18% cash) for the year. Nabil Bank has recently become the first commercial bank in Nepal to be certified with ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System.
