May 16: Govinda Prasad Dhakal, CEO of Garima Bikas Bank, has been elected as the president of Development Bankers Association of Nepal. Dhakal, who was the first vice-president of the association, was elected to the post during the 12th annual general meeting held recently.
Dhakal was elected to the vacant post as per the statute of the association. Likewise, the meeting also elected Muktinath Bikas Bank's CEO Pradhyumna Pokharel as the general secretary and CEO of Jyoti Bikas Bank, Manoj Kumar Gyawali, as the executive committee member of the association.
