May 21: MAW Enterprises Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, announced the launch of new color models of its stylish scooter ‘Fascino’.

According to the company, the 'supermodel scooter' will be now available in 'glamorous gold' colour. It will also be available in 'dapper blue' and 'beaming blue', the company said in a statement.

In an event organized in the capital on Sunday, May 20, Miss Nepal World 2018 Shrinkahala Khatiwada unveiled the new color variant of Fascino.

The launch was followed by scooter handover ceremony.  Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, MD of MAW Enterprises, handed over the key of a brand new Fascino to Miss Nepal Shrinkala Khatiwada. She won 'Yamaha Face of Fascino' along with the Miss Nepal World titles in the beauty pageant organized by The Hidden Treasure last month. She will be featuring in the advertising campaign of Yamaha Fascino throughout the year.

According to the company, the new color models continue to offer an air-cooled, 4-stroke, 113 cc, 'Blue Core' engine with a continuous variable transmission (CVT) that offers great fuel efficiency at 66 km/L (under standard test conditions).

In addition to practical functions such as comfort and storage, the new Fascino also has features such as  new body styling with dynamic curves embellished with chrome-plating placed on the front fascia along with a new Fascino emblem, a Blue Core engine with high combustion efficiency to offer among the best fuel efficiency in the class, weight of only 103 kg that contributes to both fuel efficiency and ease of handling, stylish new graphics on the front and the sides of the external body and dual tone seat-covers with a raise grab-bars to woe customers who value a sense of luxury and quality.

The company said that customers buying any of the Yamaha scooters will get up to 75 percent resale value on exchange with Yamaha motorcycles or scooters within one year of the date of purchase. Similarly, valuation after 12 to 18 months of the date of purchase will be 70 percent of the purchase invoiced amount while valuation between 18th and 24th month of the purchase will be 35 percent deduction from the purchase invoiced amount.
