Bridgewater College Pledges Scholarship to Needy Students

July 13: Bridgewater International College has announced to provide scholarships to Secondary Education Examination (SEE)-appeared students from rural and earthquake affected areas of Nepal.

The college said in a statement that it has signed a MOU with Lions Club International District 325 A2, Lions Club of Kathmandu to provide academic scholarships to underprivileged and deprived students from rural and earthquake-affected areas in Nepal.

The MOU is not a commitment of funds but collaboration among parties to help raise funds for underprivileged and deprived students of Nepal, the statement further said.

“This need-basis scholarship program is open to SEE-appeared students who demonstrate significant financial aid needs,” said Sandeep Khanal, principal at Bridgewater International College.

With the tag line “Creating New Dimensions to Education,” Bridgewater International College is providing a platform for such students to secure their future in their respective fields.

According to the college, 100 underprivileged and deprived students of Nepal have an opportunity to get academic scholarship worth Rs 50,000 each.
