July 18: Samsung Plaza, operated by Him Electronics, the authorized distributor of Samsung electronics in Nepal, celebrated 15 years of operation on July 17.
Samsung Plaza is an exclusive brand outlet which features Samsung electronic products ranging from smartphones, TVs, and numerous home appliances.
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, Samsung Plaza handed a cheque of Rs 250,000 to the President of Asman Foundation, Kamal Keshari Tuladhar with the aim of providing 50 schoolgirls with one year full scholarship, school uniform and stationary books.
The fund will be provided to deserving students of Nirmal Vidyapeeth and Shree Aajad School, Him Electronics said in a statement. The company said that the it took the initiative to help empowering young schoolgirls.
Speaking about the anniversary, Seema Golchha, director of Him Electronics, stated, "This is a really proud moment for me and the company. We have reached a milestone, celebrating 15 years of exemplary and accomplished business. It's a great honor for us that we are putting small efforts towards women empowerment through our scholarship initiative program for girls. I believe that our small efforts would generate positive outcomes in the near future.”
