September 11: Mega Bank has started branchless banking service at Chitaha of Gadi Rural Municipality in Sunsari district. The municipality’s Chairman Shree Prasad Yadav and Nepal Krishi Company’s Programme Manager Bibekanand Jha jointly inaugurated the service amid a recent function.

On the occasion, the bank’s branch manager in Biratnagar Abhishek Karki informed that the facility will let the customers access banking services including account opening, deposit and withdrawal of amount and loan up to Rs 1 million.  The bank has been providing its services from more than 100 branches and 119 branchless banking facilities across the country, said the bank.
