Himalayan Bank Donates Computers

October 14: Himalayan Bank has donated desktop computers to various community schools across the country on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.  

The bank said in a statement that it donated the computers as part of its corporate social responsibility.

According to the bank, it provided six computers to Shree Kuleshwar High School, Kuleshwar, Kathmandu, 12 computers to Shree Tarun High School, Balaju, Kathmandu, 12 computers to Shree Saraswati Higher Secondary School, Thecho, Lalitpur.

Similarly, the bank also donated five computers to Shree Janajagriti Aadharbhoot Vidhyalaya, Kholmatol in Nijgadh and 10 computers to Shree Mahendrodaya Secondary School, Bhimeshwar, Dolakha.

The computers were handed over by the senior general manager, general manager and executives of the bank amid separate functions. 

The bank said that it aims to assist the students of community schools with computer education.
