November 30: Laxmi Bank is all set to organise “Laxmi Bank Open Golf 2018” at Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday, December 1. The bank said in a statement that it started sponsorship of this event in 2014 and has been hosting it annually.
This tournament will be played over 18 holes, on a stableford format with ¾ handicap allowance. More than 100 golfers including men, women, seniors aged 60 and above and juniors aged 17 and under will vie for the trophy in various categories, according to the bank.
The prize categories include winner, runner-up; best gross, ladies winner, senior winner (60 and above), senior runner-up, winner guest category, junior winner, longest drive, closest to the pin and most birdies.
Further, the bank said that a Hyundai IONIQ, a brand new electric vehicle in town, will be awarded to a golfer who achieves to make a Hole-in-One on the 10th hole.
