OPPO Enters 4 New Markets

February 7: Chinese smartphone brand, OPPO, said it officially entered four new countries within the past one week in its attempt to rapidly expand its market base.

Issuing a statement on February 7, OPPO said it entered four new markets with consecutive launches in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Poland.

OPPO officially arrived in Saudi Arabia on January 28, bringing the R17 series in the kingdom. Before the official launch, OPPO announced its opening of second MEA hub in Dubai, UAE, which will be the base for Middle East's regional operations, the statement said.

 OPPO held the UK launch event at the Tower Bridge in London on January 29 followed by the official launch in Turkey, making its European ecosystem more robust, the company claimed. OPPO also launched its complete series in Poland.

OPPO’s first venture in the European market was France, where the product was launched in June 2018.

During the six months that followed, the company said it continued its European expansion by entering the Italian, Spanish and Dutch markets. And with the entry into the UK, Turkey, and Poland, OPPO is now available in nine European countries.

OPPO said it presence in more than 40 countries and regions around the world, providing state of art technology products and services to more than 250 million users.
